Alex Park

Classical Guitarist, educator

         Alex Park has been an active educator since he was 17 years old teaching guitar and piano lessons. Since then he has taught over 50 students teaching various styles such as classical guitar, electric, acoustic, piano, mandolin, ukulele, music theory, composition, and song writing to students of all ages and levels. In addition to teaching privately, Alex is currently on faculty at Pepperdine University which is ranked #1 in “The Ten Very Best Colleges for Classical Guitar Performance” by Music School Central.

Olivia Koo

Violinist, educator

Olivia Koo is an accomplished violinist with extensive experience in both teaching and performing. She is dedicated to providing her students with a comprehensive music education, combining technical excellence with artistic expression. Known for her vibrant performances, engaging personality, and unwavering professionalism, Olivia inspires both her students and audiences alike.

Her performance career has taken her to prestigious venues such as Walt Disney Concert Hall, Cerritos Performing Arts Center, Chapman Hall, and Meng Concert Hall. In addition to performing traditional orchestral repertoire, Olivia has showcased her versatility by performing works by 20th-century composers and premiering her own compositions, including a debut at Meng Concert Hall.

Olivia has also contributed to non-profit organizations such as the Harmony Project and the Eastern Sierra Symphony Summer Festival, further demonstrating her commitment to using music as a tool for community engagement and enrichment.

With years of teaching experience, Olivia brings creativity and motivation to her lessons, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each student. She believes that music is a powerful form of self-expression, stating, “My goal for each student is to develop a sense of ownership and love for the music they play.”

Olivia has studied under Elizabeth Hedman and is currently furthering her training with Ji Young An, violin professor at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in violin performance and composition from California State University, Fullerton, graduating magna cum laude.
